Welcome dinner in the hotel.

The visit of a dairy in this region is always a interesting experience: columns made of Parmigiano Reggiano, like a cheese cathedral, and the organic cheese we taste make this experience unforgettable.

After the lunch in the beautiful city of Modena, we visit a traditional acetaia, where the renowned balsamic vinegar is produced: you have never tasted such a tasty balsamic!

Have you ever joined a truffle hunt? We meet a truffle expert and his dogs and all together we look for the precious truffle in beautiful forest in a hilly area. Finally, we taste the truffle we found combined with home-made pasta in a typical agriturismo.

In the afternoon, it is time to get involved in a cooking class, where we learn how to cook the best recipes of the region.

Parma ham is renowned but the ham from free-range black pigs bred in a natural way is a luscious rarity. We visit the organic farm that produces the ham and eventually we taste their delicious products.

We leave the hills of Parma and we move towards Verona: our agriturismo welcomes us with a tasting of Valpolicella wines, all produced with organic farming method.

We spend the whole day visiting Lake Garda and its villages. We first visit Sirmione, enchanting town with a stunning castle and white cliffs. Lunch in a elegant Michelin-starred restaurant.

In the afternoon we move to Lazise, another beautiful village with a medieval castle, colourful houses, narrow alleys flanked by traditional shops and a little charming port from where we can enjoy the sunset.

The beautiful city of Mantua is surrounded by lakes on which water the castle and the Renaissance-style building mirror. Its city centre is a UNESCO heritage site, as well as Palazzo Te, a beautiful palace with stunning frescos.

After lunch we visit the village of Borghetto sul Mincio, a charming village built on the river Mincio, that features watermills and a romantic atmosphere.

The historical market of Padua is one of the best of the region: it’s hard to resist at the temptation of buying some typical products in stalls and shops in the most beautiful squares of the city.

There is meat for lunch, cooked on stone right infant of us, like in a little show.

In the afternoon we move to Verona. Besides of the city centre and the Arena, we add a romantic touch to the trip visiting Juliet’s balcony.

Euganean Hills are ancient volcanoes, now covered by lush vegetation and spotted with charming villages. Here, high-quality olive oil is produced: we taste some organic oil during the pressing period.

The wine growing landscape of the prosecco wine production area has recently been listed as UNESCO heritage site thanks to beautiful landscapes of vineyards and lush hills. There, we taste some Prosecco in one of the most panoramic wineries of the region.

In the afternoon we move to Treviso, beautiful city crossed by many canals and spotted with medieval buildings: here Tiramisù was invented, the most famous Italian dessert.

The lagoon of Venice is a magical place, both if it’s sun shining or if it is wrapped in the fog. We board on a private boat and we visit the island of the lagoon. We first disembark in Mazzorbo, a farming and residential island where rare vineyards are flanked by artichoke cultivation.

Burano – linked with a small bridge – is slightly different, with a vibrant atmosphere many beautiful colourful houses. Finally, we visit the solitary island of Torcello and its ancient abbey.

Venice always gives something new to the visitor’s eyes, even to those who visited it several times. For example, have you ever been in a “chicchetteria”?
